[Parachute Guy]

I am pretty impressed

I was expecting it to be quite a bad flash and at first the really basic animation wasn't impressing me but I started to like it more and more as it went on.

The choices you made regarding "camera" angles and cuts were fairly spot on and there were some bits that made be really laugh.

The animation, as I'm sure you'll agree, is far from the best but there are some great little bits in there. I really loved when he started doing tricks on his metal shrapnel sky board thing.

Good work.

That was great, really great. I had no idea that David Pierce played Robin in Spamalot.

Truthfully I assumed Spamalot would be shit interpretation of the film but your flash really made it look like alot of fun. The flash was also quite well made and very well linked with the song.

Well done in all respects. Truely deserves front page.

Not bad

My main criticism of you is that you desperatley need to learn how to accept constuctive criticism. You'll probably respond to this review with something along the lines of "You are just jealous because I got front page".

I wouldn't begrudge anyone getting front page but seriously, grow the fuck up. Your animation shows an understanding of flash but no originality. You must realise that this got front page because of the success of the original madness series.

I'm not trying to sound like a wanker because your flash was quite well put together and is a fairly good homage to Krinkels but stop taking every piece of criticism as a personal attack against yourself. People are allowed to criticise and as an artist you should welcome it. It means you can make your next movie even better by trying to improve and make sure there are less critics next time you submit.

-Massive 2 floor airplane slaughter.
-Guaranteed harder enemies.
-Guaranteed better animation with more realism.
-Car chase, roadkill.
-Explosives plus an off road 1 on 1 plus a hell of alot of agents in a field.
-Theme: Korea.
-More guns.
-A shitload more blood.
-Better music.

I like it.

Very impressive technically and the script was decent.

Did you add the grey outline to the video of yourself or was that necessary to make the blue screen work? I also think it would have been better if you yourself hadn't turned greyscale.

Also, are we supposed to believe that your friend at the start knows you have a comic room or that he doesn't know you make the comic?

It is nice to see something new like this but I felt like I was missing out on some of the humour having not seen any of the comics. Maybe you should put a link to them in you authors comments... unless you have already and I just didn't notice.

For some reason I don't think you've stolen it but I have definately seen it before, maybe under a different name. Containing the word "heart" maybe.

Did you submit this once before or somewhere else? I've definately seen it before.

Well it's no "Spin"..

....but still very clever and funny. I was wondering why more people don't tying using "peoplmation" and then watching the shaddow creep across the screen as Gel chased the bin I realised that this must take bloody ages. How long did this one take you?

I'm tempted to have a go myself, it's just stopmotion isn't it? I might have a bit of a play around after I finish with the flash I'm working on now.

I really enjoyed it guys, as always. Well done.

Ps. if this was made before Spin, do you have stores and stores of little films that you made but never submitted?

I forget how long it took, but this one might've only taken a few days. Spin took around 2 weeks. You should definately try it, it's just basic stop-motion! And yes, we have TONS and tons of stuff we've made on video... heck we've known each other for almost 10 years. I'm trying to pick out the best stuff to bring to NG.

Not great animation and it could have used voices. I don't think it deserved front page but it's a fair tribute to a great comic.
